Global Energy Efficiency Initiative
DOMANI was retained by a Fortune 500 beverage company to identify opportunities for achieving energy efficiency targets across a diverse global network of manufacturing, distribution and marketing business units. We identified cost-effective corporate guidance and project management tools to reduce energy use through the application of available and emerging technologies.
Energy + Climate Risk Assessment
For the beverage company’s global manufacturing network, DOMANI identified and assessed risks associated with energy supplies and climate change—including price volatility, supply interruption and cost of compliance. We developed a comprehensive database of energy use, costs, technologies employed, infrastructure and production information that integrated forward-looking stochastic models.
Supply Chain GHG Emissions Baseline
DOMANI developed a comprehensive understanding of the potential carbon exposure and related risks posed by climate change. We determined an expanded carbon boundary for these supply chains using life-cycle analysis methodology and surveys of vendors. The study serves to guide business decisions in risk mitigation around carbon exposure issues.
GHG Emissions Forecast + Abatement Strategy
DOMANI developed a methodology to understand the feasibility and costs to achieve global greenhouse gas (GHG) targets. Using a forecast model based on plant-level emissions data and emerging global trends, we developed abatement projects and scenarios to evaluate the costs and emissions reductions of specific targets and strategies within business units.

Green Building Corporate Management Tool
For a leading Fortune 500 company, DOMANI helped develop a management tool to facilitate the rollout of its unique green building goals. The tool was designed to guide all new projects—whether new construction or renovation—through the complex process of LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification. DOMANI incorporated both resources and tips for successful implantation and the functionality to track project goals against the broader goals of the company.
Land Use Tool
For a leading Fortune 500 company, DOMANI developed an innovative approach to quantifying land use practices at global manufacturing and development facilities by incorporating a variety of different “values”: aesthetic value, buffer value, carbon and emissions reduction value, habitat value, human activity value, water systems value, and other factors. Today, this tool is being used to create all varieties of value with sustainable land use practices that offset each facility’s environmental footprint and streamline the decision-making process for facility managers.

Climate Change + Carbon
DOMANI was retained to support and lead New Mexico’s initiative to become the first state to join the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX) and commit to reducing its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. We developed a clear understanding of their baseline and annual GHG emissions, which provided a solid foundation for future offset planning and strategy development. We also created a credible, auditable and repeatable process to manage the data under CCX’s legally binding emissions credit trading program, and raised the awareness on the extent of GHG impacts from New Mexico government operations.
